Qualifications of Territory Sales Representative (Heavy Duty/Diesel Parts):

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); alternatively, one to three years of relevant sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred

Responsibilities of Territory Sales Representative (Heavy Duty/Diesel Parts):

  • Researches and compiles lists of potential customers from various sources such as trade shows, newspapers, and online research.
  • Visits current and prospective customers within designated areas to uncover profitable business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with customer representatives and operational personnel to develop solutions for customer issues and secure business partnerships.
  • Prepares and delivers quotations for repairs or identified issues, following up with customers to finalize sales.
  • Offers training on new products or services to customers' staff upon request.
  • Represents the company at industry events to attract new business opportunities.
  • Maintains detailed records of customer interactions, sales calls, and opportunities using reporting tools or CRM systems.
  • Upholds a positive company image through interactions with customers and stakeholder
