The Customer Service Supervisor role is vital to the success of this Global Chemical organization

Responsibilities

  • Manage selected customers within the region.
  • Lead customer complaint resolution process, including setting up calls, follow-up, and defining Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Define and support the implementation of KPIs, such as Credit notes vs. number of orders, OTIF, and order management/data integrity.
  • Ensure SAP system setup meets business needs, including drop-shipments, pricing, invoicing, and customer master data.
  • Oversee month-end closing process and sales support activities.
  • Handle inquiries from the regional customer base, distributors, and agents.
  • Ensure compliance with customer credit control and act as a go-to person for payment issues.
  • Onboard, train new staff, and maintain service level agreements with the sales team.
  • Represent customer and commercial interests in operations meetings.
  • Drive a proactive customer engagement culture to support S&OP and CRM efforts.
  • Foster a network with regional leads to share best practices and ensure global standards.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of B2B industry experience.
  • 3-5 years in a managerial position.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Export regulation and documentation knowledge.
  • Significant ERP experience, SAP preferred.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong customer-oriented vision.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and inspire vision to the team.
  • Experience managing local and remote teams.
  • Demonstrated competencies in leadership, teamwork, influencing, and results orientation.
