Executive Sushi Chef Responsibilities:
  • Work as a team with the entire restaurant staff
  • Oversee and manage all BOH managers and operations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen
  • Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives. 
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of the culinary team and work closely with the Executive Chef
  • Always create a great guest experience
  • Adhere and direct the team to follow standard recipes to uphold quality and consistency
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
  • Help monitor food freshness and quality
Executive Sushi Chef Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience as an elite-level Head Sushi Chef
  • 8+ years experience in high-volume / fine dining kitchens with at least $2M in annual revenue
  • Passion for food and cooking
  • Ability and passion for leading a team
  • Hands-on approach to running a sushi team
  • Must have experience in high-end Asian cuisine / Sushi
  • Ability to step into an established brand and grow with the company
Executive Sushi Chef Benefits:
  • Great salary of $65K base plus tip share, resulting in an additional $15K
