We are looking for a unique, passionate, and creative Sous Chef! Candidates should bring a mix of experience in Southern / Low Country / Appalachian cuisine and another cuisine with a vision for subtle American-style fusion.

This position will require living and working in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area of Tennessee. Relocation assistance and temporary housing may be available for ideal candidates.

Farm to Table Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef, CDC, or Exec Sous in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Drive and Desire to progress in career toward an Executive Chef position
  • Experience with new restaurant openings a huge plus
  • Technology savvy
  • Positive and progressive leadership style; Strong servant leader style of management
  • Strong desire to live and work in the Gatlinburg, TN area

Farm to Table Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team on staffing and opening a new restaurant!
  • Manage the kitchen team including motivation, organization, discipline, and training
  • Work nightly service and ensure consistent and timely delivery of products
  • Contribute to menu and recipe writing
  • Order products from vendors and local farms
  • Schedule kitchen staff to labor budget and production needs
