Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their leadership team and oversee and manage engineering projects including infrastructure, transportation, construction management, street development, and other public work projects.

Civil Engineer Benefits:

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Design of Capital Improvement Program Projects
  • Coordination/Communication with the public, contractors, and consultants, and provide customer assistance
  • Prepare and oversee engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of capital improvement projects
  • Site Plan Review – specifications, and stormwater management reports
  • Storm Water Compliance for Capital Improvement Program Projects
  • Maintain and update engineering records
  • Serve as project engineer on various Capital Improvement Program projects
  • Coordination/Communication with Engineering Staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Civil Engineer Qualifications:

  • BS Civil Engineering or related degree required
  • PE license preferred but not required
  • Experience with paving, roadway and utility design, and land development
  • 2 + years varied civil engineering experience with some supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver’s License upon employment
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
