We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to oversee and execute day-to-day culinary operations while delivering high-quality and creative breakfast items and lunches to a single private company. If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, we want to meet you today!

Executive Sous Chef Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of three years as a Sous Chef (high volume catering or restaurant)
  • Ability to speak Spanish and English is strongly preferred
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Background in production
  • Strong leadership and team management skills – Ability to hold your team accountable to high expectations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and working with vendors
  • Creativity & menu development, focus on quality
  • Familiarity with managing a team of 10 and overseeing entire kitchen operation
  • Strong understanding of financials, budgets, and cost control
  • Ability to recruit, train, and supervise a strong and talented kitchen team
  • Strong eye for quality and upholding high standards of quality as well as cleanliness
  • Ability to gather feedback and make adjustments accordingly
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
