Bar Manager Expectations:

  • 2 years of bar management in upscale casual concepts
  • Strong wine knowledge (L1 sommelier certification)
  • Strong Tenure in previous positions
  • Experience cultivating and maintaining guest relations through a dynamic floor presence
  • Ability to lead and develop a large team with a positive, energetic approach
  • Deliver the highest quality of food and contribute to exceeding expectations
  • Consistent execution of all systems, standards, and processes
  • Inventory control (food, labor, and product cost)

Bar Manager Requirements:

  • Reports to the General Manager
  • Exposure to sales volumes of $6 million per year
  • Exceptionally service-oriented — understands hospitality time
  • 2-3 years of leadership in preferably chef-driven concepts or high-end, quality scratch kitchens
  • Established longevity & career progression
  • Professional image & demeanor
  • Holds peers and staff accountable to expected results
