We are seeking a highly-organized Scratch Kitchen Sous Chef to join our team of professionals! Great growth opportunities, with one of the best restaurant groups in the area. Apply today!

Sous Chef Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale scratch environment
  • Experience with Managing Staff, Scheduling, Ordering, Receiving
  • A good understanding of inventory controls, purchasing, and food and labor cost
  • In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, industry trends, and best practices
  • Must be operations-driven, passionate, open-minded, and hands-on
  • High Volume cooking experience in a scratch kitchen environment
  • Can-do attitude personality is key – we value good service and understand good service is about serving one another

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ability to create an environment based on learning and development of the team
  • Foster strong relationships with the management team, associates, and purveyors
  • Scheduling, ordering, training, mentoring, and team-building
  • The right candidate understands performance criteria and holds self and team accountable through effective coaching and strong follow-through skills
  • Understands and executes an action plan to achieve goals
