Automation Machine Tool Electrician Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Safely and efficiently maintain, troubleshoot, and work to improve electrical automation equipment (primarily DMG Mori, Mazak, Okuma, and Siemens equipment) in the facility
  • 3+ years’ experience repairing and troubleshooting foreign/domestic machine tools, as well as CNC, PLC, relay logic-controlled machines, and AC/DC analog/digital drives
  • In-house equipment: Conveyors, parts washers, furnaces, robots, hoists, cranes, and CNC machine tools
  • High-level mechanical skills, ability to read schematics and prints and operate common tools
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
