Construction Manager Municipality Benefits:

Construction Manager Municipality Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Associate’s degree in construction management or similar field preferred
  • Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License required
  • Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles and IDOT specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Review project plans, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Assist in bid preparations, coordinate meetings, and maintain project documentation
  • Review permit applications and manage public inquiries with professionalism
  • Conduct topographic surveys and prepare and distribute project notices
