Experienced sous chef needed for an upscale restaurant opening in New Orleans, LA. Come be a part of a James Beard award-winning company with lots of growth opportunities in the future!

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality food and service
  • Food ordering and controlling food costs
  • Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
  • Ability to multitask and get things done efficiently as possible in a fast past environment
  • Strong people manager that is outgoing and personable
  • Hold staff and be self-accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to develop a strong staff by continuously training and coaching
  • Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • High-volume experience
  • Experience in upscale casual or fine dining restaurants is required
  • Culinary degree a plus but not required
  • 2-3 years of sous chef experience required
