The Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance is an integral part of our luxury hotel team. Reporting to the Director of Facilities and the General Manager, this person is essential in creating unforgettable experiences for guests of the resort. Maintaining the quality and safety of all property facilities is of utmost importance.

Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance facilities operations
  • Ensure facilities are always well-maintained
  • Manage the facilities' maintenance team
  • Experience with large outdoor spaces – green-friendly resort
  • Oversee facilities budgets, direct routine maintenance, respond to emergencies, manage risk, manage renovations and contractors, oversee security, and conduct site inspections over multiple buildings located on one beautiful campus
  • Support physical plant and systems, of main buildings and living units, are frequent
  • Manage and supervise a maintenance team that provides 7-day per-week coverage

Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenances Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Property Management
  • HVAC, electrical background
  • Hydrology experience preferred – numerous pools and hot tubs
  • 5 + years of proven experience in facilities management – hospitality preferred
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills 
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance Compensation:

  • $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 Base
