As a Banquet Manager for our iconic catering and events company, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating seamless and memorable events. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and overall coordination of banquets and events hosted at our venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Banquet Manager Qualifications/Responsibilities

  • 3+ years as a Banquet Manager or similar role in a high-volume (8M+), multi-outlet events/catering venue
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and event logistics
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing catering and events operations and sales team – coach, mentor, train, and support
  • Build and nurture relationships with team members and clients
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, floor plans, and staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all elements of the event are executed flawlessly.
  •  Supervise and lead banquet staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service.
  • Manage event budgets and resources effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings with staff to review details and gather feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and venue policies.
