Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate

Our client, a boutique personal injury firm and 2023 Best Lawyers to Watch is seeking an Associate.

 

Who You Are:

 

  • You are meticulous, dynamic, proficient, and deliver quality client and settlement outcomes
  • You are plaintiff-centric and will fight for your clients. You provide legal representation to clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence or misconduct of others
  • You have 1-2 years of plaintiff advocacy experience, preferably in the personal injury practice
  • You work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • You possess compelling writing and organizational skills and effectively balance multiple priorities and caseloads
  • You possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school and a Georgia State Bar license

 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury cases, including reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents
  • Meet with clients to gather necessary information and assess the strength of their claims
  • Interview clients, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to investigate and retrieve information to build a robust case
  • Draft demand letters, motions, discovery, and preparing pleadings
  • Resolve pre-litigation issues, including coverage and liability
