We are searching for an experienced Professional City Traffic Engineer to evaluate, review and identify traffic safety improvements. In this role, you'll supervise a staff and oversee daily operations of the traffic signal systems, plan review and traffic design support for City Capital projects and improvements.

Professional City Traffic Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer license required (If not registered in Florida, must be willing/able to obtain FL within 9 months of hire
  • PTOE certification preferred
  • Ability to obtain Maintenance of Traffic Control Certification within 6 months of hire
  • 10+ years of progressive experience of traffic related issues, project design, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Solid project management, cost estimating and scheduling experience
  • Experience with traffic design criteria such as MUTCD, FDOT Green Book design standards and regulations
  • 2+ years supervisory/management experience

Professional City Traffic Engineer Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of $80K – $130K, based on experience
