The Dual Director of Sales oversees the strategic sales operations for two of our waterfront properties.

Key duties encompass driving occupancy rates and ADR growth to boost overall revenue, aligning with hotel profit targets. This role involves nurturing existing client connections while forging new partnerships within the market. Moreover, tasks entail crafting comprehensive sales and marketing plans, conducting revenue forecasts, devising effective networking strategies, and championing a proactive Sell Smart approach across both properties.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate directly with General Manager(s) to devise targeted strategies aimed at boosting revenue through enhanced occupancy and ADR.

– Cultivate enduring relationships with valued clients to ensure their ongoing loyalty and satisfaction.

– Engage actively in weekly revenue meetings and conduct daily reviews of rate and revenue strategies.

– Liaise closely with prominent local figures, business leaders, and community representatives to maintain high-profile exposure for the hotels.

– Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan incorporating diverse methods to attract new and existing accounts, setting clear success metrics to achieve revenue targets.

– Collaborate with General Managers to formulate hotel budgets by analyzing historical financial data, industry standards, and market dynamics.

– Train and motivate the team to achieve revenue goals, capitalize on sales opportunities, and promote proactive selling techniques.

– Analyze monthly reports and sales forecasts to identify market trends, coordinate revenue-enhancing activities, and ensure performance meets or exceeds targets.

– Utilize Delphi software to efficiently organize and manage hotel business groups and events.

– Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members, delivering exemplary customer service.

– Conduct regular outside sales calls, site tours, and networking activities to secure new business and maintain existing client relationships.

– Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with self-motivation, strong work ethic, and resourcefulness.

Requirements:

– Bachelor's degree or equivalent in sales or related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in the hospitality industry.

– At least two years of experience as a Hotel Director of Sales at a full-service property.

– Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
