Our 100-year-old client is a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems and seeks a Tool Maker for their growing team. If you are interested in joining an inclusive team that celebrates diversity and authenticity, please apply:

Tool Maker Responsibilities:

  • Plan and layout job assignments, sequence machining operations and calculate shrinkage and expansion allowances
  • Perform machine operations that require difficult setups and very close tolerances
  • Troubleshoot tooling
  • Recommend tool modifications and methods
  • Setup, program and operate EDM equipment and complex CNC machine tools
  • Work with the engineering team to work out tooling and prototype refinements

Tool Maker Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma
  • 4+ years manual machining experience
  • Experience with manual milling including facing, boring, drilling, and tapping & manual lathes including turning, boring, and single-point threading
  • Skilled at blueprint reading, basic trigonometry, and other basic math skills
