We are searching for an Industrial Drafter for a privately-owned custom manufacturer to coordinate project execution and control, resulting in the delivery of equipment that meets the customer’s specifications and is delivered with the high-quality.

Industrial Dafter Responsibilities

  • Manage complex designing and drafting assignments
  • Develop drawings and models from written and verbal specifications
  • Work with Engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards, design documentation
  • Complete projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop 3D models by analyzing prototypes and 2D drawings.
  • Check engineering drawings for compliance with cited specifications.
  • Prepare engineering documents for customer submittal.

Industrial Drafter Qualifications

  • Associate degree in CAD and design, or engineering technology
  • A minimum of two years of drafting experience
  • Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Creo product design software
  • Able to develop design layouts in 2D and 3D
  • Microsoft Office Applications experience
  • Able to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
