We are looking for an Executive Chef for an intimate, farm-to-table restaurant.

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE WORKING AND LIVING IN WALLA WALLA, WA

Executive Working Chef Qualifications:

  • Highly creative! Must change the menu weekly!
  • Hard-working! Small restaurant, the chef does ALL the cooking and execution
  • Wine knowledge and pairing knowledge are a must, especially about Washington AVAs
  • 5+ years of fine-dining chef leadership experience, at least three years as Executive Chef
  • At least two years working in a small, independent, farm-to-table restaurant
  • At least one year working in a non-city, remote location preferred
  • Knowledge and comfort with scratch Pastry, including bread, composed desserts, ice creams/sorbets, truffles, and chocolates
  • High level of financial acumen and strong computer skills
  • Be a true servant leader!

Executive Working Chef Responsibilities:

  • Create a menu weekly using local products and seasonally available ingredients
  • Source and purchase all food and manage food costs as a business professional
  • Prep and execute all food
  • Communicate effectively with the FOH team, explain food and offerings
  • Be a respected and valued contributor to the growth of the business

Executive Working Chef Benefits:

  • Excellent pay and bonus structure: base pay of 70K with profit sharing
  • Total compensation could be $100k-$110k
