A well-known, local restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef in the New Smyrna Beach, FL area. This is an exceptional waterfront, scratch kitchen polished casual dining concept. This person will be a strong leader who can make a positive impact on the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a kitchen expert who can manage a 7 million dollar concept. This candidate will manage food costs and ensure proper safety guidelines are being met at all times. Apply now!

Sous Chef Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Manage day to day operations of the Back of House
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with all health department regulations
  • Hands-on approach throughout the operation ensuring all employees are following proper procedures
  • Ensure correct staffing to ensure superior BOH execution
  • Monitor food costs and portion control associated with accurate portion control
  • Ensuring an exceptional food product is presented to each guest on a daily basis
