Sr. Estimator – Heavy Civil Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Sr Estimator – Heavy Civil to join their growing team. The Sr. Estimator will be estimating mass excavation, grading, and paving, with additional expertise in wet utilities (sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water), site concrete (curb, gutter, sidewalk), and structural concrete (retaining walls and bridges).

Sr. Estimator – Heavy Civil Benefits

  • Base salary of $120 – 200k plus bonus
  • Medical, Dental, Vision

  • Employee profit sharing

Sr. Estimator – Heavy Civil Responsibilities

  • Support estimating department with earthwork bid setup, including interpreting drawings and specs, safety, scheduling, contract admin, estimating, cost control, purchasing, quality control, and field employee coordination.
  • Coordinate AGTEK earthwork takeoffs, reviewing plans, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotes.
  • Administer technical aspects in AGTEK system, ensuring day-to-day operations, updates, and integration tools.
  • Maintain document products for effective system use and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with other estimating department tasks as required.
  • Support organizational goals by cross-training and increasing task proficiency.

Sr. Estimator – Heavy Civil Requirements

  • 5+ years of heavy civil construction estimator experience
  • AGTEK and CAD experience preferred.
