Casting Manufacturing Supervisor

The Casting Manufacturing Supervisor will manage the precious metals manufacturing team.

Casting Manufacturing Supervisor Benefits

Casting Manufacturing Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Lead our precious metals manufacturing team (casting team, welders, gem setters, polishers)
  • Oversee production workflow and productivity to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Manage team including scheduling, training and performance management
  • Inspect finished goods for any flaws, defects, or imperfections prior to release
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized production area
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of inventory and tools

Casting Manufacturing Supervisor Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a Casting Specialist or similar role in manufacturing
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of metal alloys used in casting including melting points, and mixing ratios
  • Experience with casting equipment and machinery, such as vacuum casting machines
  • Understanding of casting processes, including metal flow, temperature control, and mold filling
  • Skilled in post-casting tasks, such as cleaning, filing, and polishing, to achieve desired finish and quality
