We're looking for a General manager for a unique fitness facility , we believe the most important and rewarding work of our lives is leading and managing others. To do that, you need to be given the opportunity to run your own studio and lead your team, which is exactly what you will be hired to do as a General Manager.

General Manager Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop a team of professional Exercise Physiologists.
  • Create a culture of consistent delivery of world-class workouts.
  • Inspire excellence in customer service.
  • Lead, manage, and drive accountability.
  • Manage Sales Team delivering 70%+ closing percentage.
  • Deliver world-class workouts as an Exercise Physiologist.
  • Manage the physical plant – plumbing, equipment repair, etc.

Here is how we do it:

  • Start the hiring process.
  • Be on-boarded through Discover Strength University where you will learn to connect your exercise science background with our proven approach to delivering world-class workouts, and comprehensive leadership and management training.
  • Continue to master your craft with a 10-year Growth Plan.

Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or a related field is required.
  • Work 40-45 hours 5 days/week.
  • On your feet, training clients for 20-25 hours per week.
  • Passion for fitness and a commitment to live and model our Core Values.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet operational targets.

Benefits:

  • 401k with company match, health insurance, PTO, and referral program.
  • Expect to earn a minimum of $65,000 (non-exempt) in your first year (with bonus opportunities for an additional $5,000-$10,000 in year one).
  • By year 3 you will have the opportunity to earn compensation of over $90,000 including bonuses.
