Job Overview: We seek a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to join our restaurant group and lead our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for a multi-location restaurant business. This role requires a creative mind, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. 

Director of Marketing Responsibilities: 

  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention for the restaurant group
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
  • Oversee developing and maintaining a consistent and compelling brand image across all marketing channels
  • Ensure brand messaging is aligned with the restaurant group's values and resonates with target audiences
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, SEO, and online advertising
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage emerging technologies to enhance the group's online presence
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to enhance the restaurant group's visibility
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to promote new menu items, events, new restaurant openings, and noteworthy achievements
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer preferences
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and ensure a strong return on investment
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and measurable results
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with vendors and agencies to maximize resources

Director of Marketing Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 6 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, is required 
  • Proven success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for multi-location businesses
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, inspire, and lead a marketing team
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective marketing initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and online analytics
  • Experience in leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proven ability to think creatively and innovatively, bringing fresh ideas to marketing campaigns
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions
