Job Summary:

As the Food and Beverage Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the culinary identity of our boutique hotel. You will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, ensuring they align with our vision of providing an unparalleled dining experience. Your leadership and creativity will drive our F&B team to deliver exceptional service and exceptional cuisine and exceed revenue goals.

Food & Beverage Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall food and beverage offerings and guest experiences throughout the hotel's multiple outlets.
  • Oversee the selection, training, and development of skilled and passionate F&B staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and restaurant managers to design innovative menus that reflect the latest culinary trends and cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for cost control, and revenue generation, and maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and beverages.
  • Implement and maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations and company policies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to enhance our F&B offerings continuously.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote our dining establishments and drive foot traffic and online reservations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the hotel at industry events and networking functions.

Food & Beverage Director Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a director-level position, preferably within a boutique hotel setting.
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of successfully managing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage operations, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, vendors, and guests.
  • A passion for culinary arts, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
