*Expanding Restaurant Group Seeking an Event Sales Manager*

Seeking a talented individual to develop and grow event sales while maximizing revenue. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Event Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to attract clients and increase event bookings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, provide information about our event offerings, and conduct site tours to showcase our facilities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing quotes to clients, negotiating terms as needed to secure bookings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including catering, operations, and event staff, to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, including room setups, catering arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and staffing requirements.
  • Track sales activity, maintain accurate records of client interactions, and generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if the needs of the business and position dictate

Event Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience as Event Sales Manager
  • 5+ years of restaurant/hospitality experience
  • TIPS Certification preferred
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively convey information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of event planning and coordination best practices, including logistics, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
