A beautiful Vermont resort is seeking a Contoller to join the team. This will be a Manhattan based position. If you love numbers and working as a team, we want to speak with you! You must have hospitality experience, and knowledge of Lightspeed and Resnexus is a super plus!

Controller Responsibilities:

  • Full accounting functions including balance sheet reconciliations and accounting policy guidance
  • Prepare financial statements and monthly journal entries
  • Aide AR Specialist with daily invoicing, credit memos, cash receipt processing, manual check runs, electronic ACH and credit card payments
  • Assist with annual reviews, audits, and tax preparation
  • Primary contact for past-due account collections
  • Additional duties as required
  • YOU WILL NEED TO BE IN VERMONT ONE DAY A WEEK

Contoller Requirements:

  • Hospitality experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related experience required
  • Quickbooks knowledge
  • 2–3 years of accounts receivable or accounting experience
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required
  • Familiarity with SF Accounting Seed and Adaptive Accounting, a bonus
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents
