A well-known, regional restaurant brand is looking for a Kitchen Manager in the Fort Lauderdale, FL market. This is a unique upscale Italian full-service concept with pizza. This person will be a strong leader who can impact restaurant results immediately. The ideal candidate will be a kitchen expert who can manage a very busy kitchen. Building strong, cohesive teams and staffing the kitchen correctly for exceptional execution is key. This candidate will manage food costs and labor costs within budgeted targets. The ideal manager will drive quality food presentations through delegation and accountability. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all Back-of-House operations.

Kitchen Manager Requirements:

  • 3 years in a kitchen leadership role
  • Experience making pizza from scratch
  • Knowledge of Italian food
  • Strong Sautee skills
  • Bilingual a must
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong leadership skills

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Back of the House
  • Ensure the highest level of food quality 
  • Manage key indicators of BOH operations
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with all health department regulations
  • Ensure correct staffing to ensure proper BOH execution
