Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Select, train, and develop restaurant staff, as well as other HR functions as needed, including discipline and terminations
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant concept
  • Lead and motivate a team with a high degree of professionalism and accountability
  • Engage with guests and set the example for hospitality-driven service; resolve issues and complaints
  • Oversee scheduling and maintain labor costs within budget
  • Maintain restaurant profitability, including minimizing costs and growing sales
  • Oversee team to consistently offer exceptional food quality and speed of service
