Our client, a custom manufacturing facility, is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator to join their team. Using quality materials with high-tech equipment, they produce beautiful hand-crafted pieces for commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and higher education markets.

CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR BENEFITS:

CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • CNC Wood-Working Experience
  • AUTOCAD Drafting
  • Knowledge of CNC Programming Systems – woodWOP or AlphaCam
  • Strong attention to detail and judgment

CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters
  • Inventory control – checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipating needs, and verifying receipt of stock.
  • Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements- including basic math, geometry, and algebra, and providing part programs
