Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations for our upscale, full-service restaurant. This individual will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance, and maintaining the elevated standards that define our brand.
The ideal candidate is a polished leader with a passion for hospitality, a strong financial acumen, and the ability to cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Create a culture rooted in professionalism, service excellence, and accountability.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top-tier talent.
- Model calm, confident leadership during high-volume and high-pressure situations.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives attentive, personalized, and elevated service.
- Maintain visible floor presence during service.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Uphold brand standards in service, presentation, and ambiance.
Financial Performance
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Monitor labor, food, beverage, and operating expenses.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all front- and back-of-house operations.
- Ensure consistent quality of food, beverage, and service execution.
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and inventory controls.
Brand & Community Engagement
- Represent the restaurant within the community.
- Build relationships with guests, vendors, and partners.
- Support marketing initiatives and special events.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in upscale or fine dining full-service restaurants.
- Proven experience managing $4M+ annual revenue (adjustable based on concept).
- MUST have Strong P&L management skills.
- Current SERV Safe Manager Certificate
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams.
- High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
