Our client is seeking a skilled and personable Legal Assistant to support their Business Law practice in Dover, NH. This role is ideal for a legal professional with 2–5 years of law firm experience who enjoys variety, client interaction, and working closely with attorneys in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Open and close client files; coordinate conflict checks and engagement letters
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files (electronic and paper)
  • Support attorneys with document preparation, correspondence, and pleadings
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and case timelines
  • Communicate with clients and other legal professionals as needed
  • Assist with general administrative and case-related tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law firm
  • Working knowledge of New Hampshire court rules, deadlines, and procedures
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with Filevine and LMS is a plus (not required)
