Senior Tax Accountant with CPA – HYBRID ROLE!

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support a diverse client base, provide tax advisory and compliance services, and build strong client relationships.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated CPA who enjoys solving complex tax issues, working directly with clients, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and tax planning discussions
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and advisory services designed to support their financial goals
• Review bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accuracy prior to tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Manage tax deadlines and client expectations throughout the year
• Mentor and support junior staff members while contributing to a positive team culture

Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:

• Active CPA license in TX, or active pursuit of CPA certification
• 2+ years of recent public accounting or corporate tax experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a client-service mindset
• Proficiency with CCH, Workstream, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
