Fine Dining General Manager
A highly regarded, independently owned upscale restaurant is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, develop a strong team culture, and drive continued business growth in Charleston, South Carolina.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established operation with an excellent reputation, strong community presence, and ownership committed to long-term success. The restaurant has built a solid foundation and is looking for a proven leader who can elevate performance while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead all restaurant operations and guest experience initiatives
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 25 employees
- Coach and support a small leadership team
- Partner closely with an accomplished Executive Chef
- Drive revenue growth through local marketing, community engagement, events, and guest development
- Oversee staffing, training, labor management, and operational execution
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, service, and facility presentation
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of General Manager experience in upscale dining, polished casual, fine dining, or hospitality-driven restaurant concepts
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing financial performance and restaurant profitability
- Track record of growing sales and guest counts through specific initiatives and community involvement
- Ability to work collaboratively with culinary leadership
- New restaurant opening experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $95K+, commensurate with experience
