Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering top-notch food service in a lively, fast-paced environment. We are a pizza place first and foremost and would love to have someone with a background in pizza. We are a high volume and want someone who is organized and efficient in running the show. This role is perfect for someone who loves cooking, managing operations, and inspiring a team to achieve excellence. As the Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages growth and teamwork. Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Toast POS and R365.
• Supervise kitchen staff, including training new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting their professional development through ongoing training & development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Handle shift management by coordinating schedules, overseeing daily tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
• Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and food management to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management within quick-service & fast-food restaurants or casual dining environments.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen experience across diverse culinary styles.
• Demonstrated supervising experience with skills in team management, staff training & development, and interviewing potential candidates.
• Experience with food safety protocols, inventory control, catering, banquet services, or hotel food operations is highly desirable.
• Background in managing restaurant or food industry operations including shift management, budgeting, and food production.
