Hotel General Manager – Washington, DC

Hotel General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a General Manager in a boutique or luxury hotel setting
Proven success in leading, mentoring, and inspiring hospitality teams
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L management
Experience with CapEx development and oversight
Strong collaboration skills, comfortable leading both front and back of house operations

Hotel General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
Deep appreciation for local culture and commitment to its preservation

Hotel General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Inspire, lead, and mentor a diverse team focused on delivering memorable guest experiences
Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and property-level financial performance
Guide capital expenditure projects and property improvement initiatives
Foster a positive workplace culture built on service, integrity, and respect for local traditions
