Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- High-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate hourly teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting food, labor, and operational cost controls
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt quickly
- Proficient in basic computer and restaurant management systems
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Fast casual, casual dining, buffet, or family dining experience
- Experience leading high-volume hourly teams
- Community-oriented and hospitality-driven leadership style
- Strong coaching and team development mindset
- Operationally strong with attention to cleanliness, food quality, and guest experience
- Experience with sales-driving initiatives and local store marketing
