Service/Bar Manager – Lincoln, Nebraska

Service/Bar Manager Requirements & Qualifications

2+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Experience with operations in restaurants with $4M+ annual sales volume
Strong knowledge of bar management, purchasing, and cost control
Proficiency in labor budgeting and schedule creation
Passion for hospitality and a guest-first mindset
Clear, confident communication and a hands-on leadership style
Dependable, team-oriented, and calm under pressure

Service/Bar Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead and engage the front-of-house team with professionalism and energy
Maintain a strong presence in the dining room, bar, and entry area
Uphold hospitality standards and steps of service
Write and manage front-of-house schedules to budget
Interview, hire, and onboard hourly team members
Oversee all bar operations, including purchasing, inventory, and maintaining theoretical cost of goods
Conduct bi-weekly liquor, beer, and wine counts
Support team development and training
Partner with the General Manager for smooth day-to-day operations
