Project Manager
Position Description
A growing general contractor is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on Project Manager to interface with investors, clients, and internal teams. This role is responsible for managing projects from Request for Proposal (RFP) through closeout, including estimating, design management, pre-construction, construction, and project completion.
This position reports to senior leadership and offers strong opportunities for growth and advancement.

The company is a growing general contractor operating across multiple markets in the United States. It is affiliated with a well-capitalized real estate development firm with a large and diverse portfolio, including multifamily, build-to-rent, and self-storage projects.
Core Responsibilities:
Estimating & Proposal
– Manage RFP process from receipt to proposal
– Review construction drawings and identify scope gaps
– Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates
– Prepare subcontractor bid packages using project management software
– Develop client proposals including budget, schedule, and specifications
– Compile and execute owner contracts
Design Management
– Manage third-party consultants (civil, architectural, structural, MEP)
– Coordinate design meetings and documentation
– Ensure alignment with budget and operational requirements
– Oversee permitting process and approvals
Pre-Construction & Buyout
– Set up project budgets and schedules in project management systems
– Manage submittals and buyout schedules
– Analyze subcontractor bids and award contracts
– Conduct pre-construction kickoff meetings
Construction
– Lead pre-construction and subcontractor meetings
– Conduct safety inspections and track project progress
– Maintain schedules and provide regular reporting
– Manage pay applications and project documentation
– Oversee punch lists and project closeout
General Responsibilities
– Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
– Build strong relationships with stakeholders
– Communicate effectively across teams and leadership
– Participate in training and support company initiatives
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
– 3+ years of commercial construction experience
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
– Experience with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) preferred
– Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Willingness to travel up to 25%
