Employment Law Associate Benefits & Compensation

Base salary of $260,000 to $390,000 depending on experience

Employment Law Associate Requirements & Qualifications

JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission in California
Minimum 3 years of employment law experience
Experience handling employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
Background advising employers on employment-related compliance matters
Proficient in drafting employment policies and agreements, such as handbooks, employment, and separation agreements
Experience conducting investigations and providing compliance training
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings
Willingness to work from the office approximately 60% of the time

Employment Law Associate Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of employment litigation including discrimination, leave, wage and hour, non-compete, and breach of contract matters
Provide employers with day-to-day counseling on HR and employment-related compliance issues
Draft and review employment-related policies, handbooks, and agreements
Conduct workplace investigations regarding employment concerns
Deliver in-house training sessions on compliance with employment laws and best practices
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver exceptional client service
