Job Summary
We are adding an experienced, people-focused Kitchen Manager to our team! We have multiple concepts in the Wilmington, Newark area and take great pride in our presence in the local communities!

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for hiring all kitchen staff
- Conduct training on restaurants procedures and expectations
- Develop a schedule for kitchen staff to ensure coverage and maximize operational efficiencies
- Coordinate with General Manager and the Chef on the menu offerings
- Establish relationships with vendors
- Place food and supply orders as necessary
- Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and meets all regulations.
- Ensure the food is prepared to order and in a timely manner.
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working in a fine dining restaurant.
- Valid ServSafe certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff.
- Superior attention to detail
- Proficient with budgeting
- Skilled negotiator
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and frequent late nights.
- Expert in hiring kitchen staff for a casual/upscale casual dining restaurant
