CNC Set-Up Machinist

Our client is looking for a skilled machinist to join their team of manufacturing professionals. They specialize in precision short runs with frequent set-up changes.  

CNC Machinist Responsibilities

• Read and understand prints, drawings, sketches, specifications
• Working knowledge of processes and needed parameters for efficient machining of materials including proper speeds, feeds, depth, and angle of cuts
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and sawing, etc
• Experience setting up and/or running CNC Haas vertical Mills or Lathe
• Organized and safe work habits
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure the functionality
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

CNC Machinist Requirements

• 2 + experience with Haas machines set up, operation, and maintenance are required
