Job Summary

Our client has an immediate need for a Controller for their well known iconic restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a golf club or country club setting. Competitive starting salary range $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience with a good benefit package.

Controller Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing financial statements and budgets
  • Responsible for working closely with management to guide them in making strategic business decisions
  • Responsible for payroll
  • Responsible for overseeing banking and insurance relationships
  • Annually work with third party auditors on tax returns and annual reporting
  • Supervise and train direct reports
  • Work hand in hand with the General Manager and Board

Controller Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years as a Controller
  • No more than 2 jobs in 5 years
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Club Essential software preferred or similar private club centric programs like Jonas.
  • Self starter and detail oriented
  • Payroll expertise
  • Experience working in a golf club, country club setting is preferred
