Job Summary
Seeking an Area Director of Sales for a Luxury Hotel Group in North Carolina!

Area Director of Sales Responsibilities:
- Assists in the creation and implementation of the annual direct sales plan.
- Lead the group sales team to achieve group budget and booking pace productivity and execute the strategic direct selling efforts.
- Participate and facilitate in customer events, trade shows, and sales presentations and appointments
- Coach, mentor, train and develop sales associates towards peak performance, including customizing development plans as needed.
- Assist in negotiations and closing of bookings, lead business review meetings and sign off on all group bookings and contracts as needed.
- Work with the Area Director of Marketing (ADOM) in establishing group sales goals, forecasting group revenues, budgeting and management of sales office.
Area Director of Sales Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Director of Sales role. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Advanced computer proficiency and Microsoft products knowledge
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
- Strong negotiation skills
