Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our upscale casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the restaurant industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory control, ordering, and cost management, ensuring that the restaurant operates within budget and meets financial targets.
  • Hire, train, and supervise all front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring that they are performing to the highest standards and adhering to all food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring that their needs are met and that they leave the restaurant satisfied with their experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including promotions, specials, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement creative and innovative menus that showcase the best in upscale casual cuisine.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and a passion for excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in an upscale casual restaurant, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of restaurant professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management, inventory control, and cost management.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and food quality.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
