ASSISTANT CHEF de PARTIE (ACDP) independently oversees an assigned section in the Galley, with as little supervision as possible. The position is a key role, you are the link between the Galley Management and all other lower positions in the Galley Operation.
ACDP RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare requisitions for daily production by checking merchandise in Galley stores to avoid overstocking and wastage of items.
- Undertake recipe reviews daily
- Maintain and control the entire Service Line at the assigned section during meal hours, ensuring that the food served is in line with Service Standards; ensure the quality and presentation of food during food preparation and service hours.
- Ensure that food preparations/storage are aligned with all Public Health Policies.
- Ensure mise-en-place for all areas of responsibility is prepared 15 minutes before service.
- Provide the highest level of service to Guests and consistently maintain an impeccable standard of cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas, as per Service Standards and all Public Health Policies
ACDP QUALIFICATIONS:
- A required minimum of 2 years plus experience as an Assistant CDP or similar position within a 5 Star hospitality and/or restaurant environment; advanced culinary skills are required.
- Fluent in English – must have excellent English communication skills to clearly interpret and orate documents, such as menus and recipes. The ability to speak additional languages is an advantage.
- Flexible, stress-resistant, committed team player and exceptional work ethic are required.
- Guest-focused, service-oriented, positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards, with excellent knowledge of all Public Health Policies, are required.

Mandatory Requirements for Employment
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

- Ability to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug test. This includes testing for Marijuana and other controlled substances. We are a Drug-Free Workplace
- Must be fully covid vaccinated.
