Director of Culinary

Trendy and up-and-coming Restaurant Group is looking for an experienced Chef with some multi-unit experience. Previous experience in upscale, scratch kitchens with creativity and the ability to train/mentor staff.

Director of Culinary Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for support to multiple Chefs and all daily back-of-the-house operations across restaurant group.

·       Ensuring that all elements of kitchen functionality are in place and performing at acceptable levels.

·       Will work directly with the Director of Ops and play an active role in the future development and management of new restaurant locations as growth dictates. 

·       Ensure company standards on cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen recipes, policies, and procedures.

·      Ensure all restaurants maintain kitchen, cooking areas, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas clean, sanitary and organized.

·      Responsible for managing costs and working with Company Chefs and General Managers to achieve revenues and profit.

Director of Culinary Requirements:

·       Extensive knowledge and experience managing in high volume scratch kitchens

·      Some administrative skills needed / Word, Excel, Outlook / Culinary degree is preferred.

·     Menu creativity / Good leadership and communication skills

·      High energy and hands-on Kitchen leader.
