Fine Dining Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work to all guests and team members
  • Ability to produce a quality and consistent product, executing all the details, and focusing on daily operations
  • Plate presentation and standards
  • Organization and cost & product control are essential, in addition to ensuring the kitchen meets all health department standards for safe food handling

Sous Chef Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience as a member of a culinary management team in fine dining or fully scratch upscale casual
  • Willing to lead by example and have the ability to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve personnel and production issues
  • Proven track record of career growth and/or team development
