This is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of backup power enclosures and fuel tanks. We are in search of a Mechanical Project Engineer who wants to grow with our great company.

Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with sales and customers to obtain required specs.
  • Designing a control interface based on customer-provided machine control electrical schematics.
  • PLC/HMI software development and testing.
  • VFD programming.
  • Working closely with electrician and panel builder to provide assistance and guidance during the assembly process and testing.

Design Engineer Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in electrical engineering is preferred. Will consider a 2-year certificate with commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of practical experience, preferably within the machine tool industry.
  • AutoCad drafting, including schematics and panel/enclosure layout.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 79, OSHA 29CFR part 1910.
  • PLC/HMI development
