We are seeking an Industrial Pain Technician to join a stable and respected Manufacturing firm. This position is for the 2nd shift and they are currently working ten-hour days M-T with Fridays off or some overtime. Industrial Paint Tech Responsibilities:
- Determine painting needs and appropriate methods to use
- Read and interpret plan specifications and meet high-quality painting requirements
- Operate forklifts and cranes
Industrial Paint Tech Requirements
- Knowledge of the painting trade including methods, materials, equipment, and safety
- 2+ years as an industrial painter; or 1 year experience plus 1 year training/education
- Ability to read and implement painting blueprints and plan specifications
- Ability to operate jib/bridge cranes and forklifts
- Must be able to pass pulmonary functions test
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
